De Lanna Hotel Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai

The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms with a sitting out area/balcony and en suite bathroom. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is decent within the Old City, closer to the Sunday night market, and famous temples. The dining options are good, but could use a few more choices. Overall, it's a great value for money stay.

I couldn't have asked for a better stay! The hotel offered exactly what I needed with a touch of luxury. The rooms were stylishly decorated and comfortable, providing a lovely, modern luxurious feel. They were spacious, equipped with robes, slippers, and everything was extremely clean and well taken care of. The service was top-notch, with very pleasant and helpful staff always available to assist. The location was ideal, great for exploring the Sunday market and the main city drag, and it was wonderfully central for visiting the Old Town. The only downside was being a bit of a walk or drive away from the Night Market. Although the dining experience wasn't very impressive during my one morning there, the facilities offered were great, including a beautiful outside area with a small moat filled with koi fish, perfect for relaxing. Despite the disappointment in dining and the price not aligning with the value in that aspect, everything else exceeded expectations.

I absolutely loved the Koi ponds around the garden and the great beds were so comfortable, but there were a few weights/machines in the room that felt unnecessary. The service was incredibly friendly and helpful, even assisting us with an internal call to the airport without charging extra. The location was fantastic, with a small moat bordering the first-floor rooms filled with koi fish, and it was within walking distance to the Sunday night market and famous temple, surrounded by many restaurants. The dining options were good, providing both Western and Asian choices, yet I wished for a bit more variety. The facilities were modest but adequate, catering to various needs.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The room I stayed in was spacious and well-equipped with a fridge, kettle, and a mini bar that included tea, coffee, and water. The view of the inner courtyard was lovely, and the bathroom and toilet were quite large. The staff members took excellent care of me during my visit, assisting with tour bookings and even preparing a breakfast for my early departure. However, they appeared to be a bit inattentive at times. The location was ideal, situated at the center of the old town amid temples, making it a wonderful respite after a day of exploring in the heat. The dining options were varied, catering to both Western and Asian tastes, including a great omelet station, though some choices seemed overpriced. Unfortunately, there were limited dining choices available. The facilities were well-maintained, though there were certain areas that required extra effort to keep clean.
